Personal Enrichment Classes
Grossmont Adult Education, a member of East Region Adult Education, strives to serve all members of our adult community. Grossmont Adult Education offers numerous courses that promote Personal Enrichment and strengthen the whole community. Lifelong Education classes are meant to improve the physical and mental wellness of the adults we serve. With the variety of affordable classes we offer, there is a lifelong class here for you!
The Fall-Term 1 Personal Enrichment class enrollment is now open!

Detailed class descriptions are provided when you select the VIEW feature for the class you are interested in. You can then register for your fun and engaging Personal Enrichment class by selecting from the category list below…or see them all by selecting All Classes listed A-Z.
Construction Delay Notice: Term 1- Foothills Classes ONLY
Foothills Adult Center is undergoing a significant facility upgrade. Foothills construction progress has been affected by a recent supply and materials shortage which has delayed our opening. Please be aware:
- Term 1 Personal Enrichment classes at Foothills will be October 4 - November 19.
- Term 1 will be 7 weeks (not the traditional 8 weeks)
- The fees have been adjusted to reflect the 7-week term.
- This does not affect classes that are located at other sites.
- This will not affect Term 2 classes.

Refund Policy:
- Refund requests must be made prior to the end of the second class meeting by coming to the Foothills office or calling (619) 588-3500.
- No refunds are made after the second course meeting.
- There will be a $5 processing fee for all courses $149 or less.
- There will be a $25 processing fee for all courses $150 or more.
- There will be a $25 processing fee for customer-initiated reverse charges on a credit card. To avoid this fee, please contact the office for a refund.
- COVID-related refunds: Prorated refunds will be issued for Personal Enrichment classes closed due to Covid-related issues.
